[Basic Survival Kit] [Pre-Made Survival Kits] [Disaster Kit]
[Survival Kit Necklace]
Multi Stage Survival Kit (This is 1 survival kit divided into 4 parts)
This is a do-it-yourself survival kit, and can be altered for your needs. Example items for each kit is listed bellow. For kit supplies visit this page.
This kit is designed to provide the best survivability of any kits. It is meant to be carried in 4 parts, and combined as needed. This is the best way to insure you always have a survival kit with you at all times, and have a large selection should the need arise.
Stage 1: [always with you kit] Always with you; the bare necessities.
Stage 2: [excursion kit] [24 hrs] On your belt or around your waist. The basics for 24 hr survival; getting found, staying warm, shelter, first aid, and getting water!
Stage 3: [Main Kit] [72 hrs +] This is the main kit; designed for 72+ hrs. A backpack carried in your truck. Includes the basics for getting found, staying warm, temporary shelter, getting water, basic substance, finding food, protection, first aid, entertainment, and items to help with long term survival.
Stage 4: [long term kit for comfort] [72 hrs – 6 months] Additional food, water, better shelter, better comfort, hunting and fishing supplies, better long term survival. This kit is stored in a bag or large backpack in your home or Stage 5 trailer.
Stage 5: [Optional?] [Long Term beyond 6 months] [Additional Comfort] [Additional Survivability] Camper, pop-up trailer, survival trailer, survival vehicle, etc.
Kit Stage 1 does not count towards your overall items; kits 2, 3, and 4 do not need to contain duplicate items. You can divide up the items between kits 2, 3 &4 to suit your needs and space requirements; but anything that is necessary for survival should not go into kit 3. Kit 4 is for comfort and long term survival. Long Term Survival Kit: For the purpose of this page only, I will consider long term anything over 72 hours.
