Water

You need a way to contain water; you need a way to treat the water. To treat the water you can boil, filter, or chemical treat it.
A way to be found
Whistle-Mirror
You need a way to signal others. A whistle, a mirror, along with your fire starter, and emergency blanket can help you signal others from afar.
Shelter
Tarp-Fire
You need a way to keep dry; You need a way to keep warm. A simple tarp, emergency blanket, some twine/mono-filament. For warmth an emergency blanket and a fire starter will work great.
Food
Trap-Fire
You need a way to get the food; you need a way to cook the food. Mono-filament and hooks for fishing; mono-filament for trapping; knife for hunting, trapping, and skinning. A fire starter for cooking the food.
Treatment/Hygiene
Water-First Aid
You need a way to take care of your health; You need a way to treat injuries. Anti-septic for disinfecting wounds;
Optional: (anti-septic for rinsing mouth. Clean water for bathing.)
